The buyer is the person who places the order.

Order

When the buyer has completed the order, an order confirmation is sent to the buyer's email address. In the confirmation, the buyer will find information about product(s), price, payment method, and delivery address.

If there is any error in the order confirmation, the buyer should contact the seller.

Delivery

The seller's standard delivery time is 7-14 days and a fixed shipping fee is 0 kr, regardless of the number of products ordered.

In the event of delayed delivery, (without the seller having informed about a longer delivery time) the buyer can contact the seller.

Prices

The prices listed in the online store are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include value-added tax.

Information about the total costs the buyer must pay, including product(s) and delivery costs, is given in the ordering solution before the order is placed.

Examination of the item

When the buyer receives the item, it is recommended that he or she to a reasonable extent checks whether it corresponds to the order, whether it has been damaged during transport, or if it otherwise has defects. If the item does not match the order or has defects, the buyer must report to the seller by complaint.

Right of withdrawal

The buyer can cancel the purchase of the item according to the provisions of the Cancellation Act. The right of withdrawal means that the buyer can return the item to the seller without reason even if there is no defect in it and even if it has not been delivered. The buyer must notify the seller of the use of the right of withdrawal within 14 days after the item has been received.

The message from the buyer to the seller about the use of the right of withdrawal should for evidence reasons be in writing.

When using the right of withdrawal, the item must be returned to the seller within a reasonable time. The seller is obliged to refund the entire purchase amount to the buyer within 14 days from the day the seller receives the item. The seller cannot charge fees for the buyer's use of the right of withdrawal. The buyer can examine the product before he or she regrets the purchase.

Defect in the item - the buyer's rights and the deadline for complaint

If there is a defect in the product, the buyer must notify the seller within a reasonable time after it was discovered or should have been discovered, to claim the defect. The buyer has always claimed in time if it happens within 2 months from when the defect was discovered or should have been discovered. Complaints can be made at the latest two years after the buyer took over the item. If the item or parts of it are meant to last significantly longer than two years, the complaint deadline is five years.

If the item has a defect and this is not due to the buyer or circumstances on the buyer's side, the buyer can, according to the rules in the Consumer Purchase Act chapter 6 depending on the circumstances, withhold the purchase sum, choose between correction and re-delivery, demand a price reduction, demand the agreement rescinded and/or demand compensation from the seller.

Complaints to the seller should be made in writing.

Correction or re-delivery

The buyer can choose between demanding the defect corrected or delivery of an equivalent item. However, the seller can object to the buyer's claim if implementing the claim is impossible or causes the seller unreasonable costs. Correction or re-delivery should be made within a reasonable time. The seller basically has no right to make more than two attempts to remedy the same defect.

Price reduction The buyer can demand a suitable price reduction if the item is not corrected or re-delivered. This means that the ratio between the reduced and the agreed price corresponds to the ratio between the value of the item in a defective and contractually correct condition. If special reasons speak for it, the price reduction can instead be set equal to the importance of the defect for the buyer.

Rescission

If the item is not corrected or re-delivered, the buyer can also rescind the purchase when the defect is not insignificant.

Conflict resolution

The parties should try to resolve any disputes amicably. The buyer can contact the Consumer Council for assistance in a possible dispute with the seller. If an amicable solution is not achieved after mediation in the Consumer Council, the parties can request in writing that the Consumer Council present the dispute for the Consumer Dispute Committee. Decisions by the Consumer Dispute Committee are legally binding four weeks after notification. Before the decision is legally binding, the parties, by submitting a summons to the Consumer Dispute Committee, can bring the decision before the District Court.

Personal data

Unless the buyer consents to anything else, the seller can only collect and store the personal data necessary for the seller to be able to fulfill the obligations under the agreement. The buyer's personal information should only be disclosed to others if it is necessary for the seller to be able to implement the agreement with the buyer, or in statutory cases. The seller can only collect the buyer's social security number if there is a factual need for secure identification and such collection is necessary.

The buyer should easily be able to contact the seller, for example by phone or email if he or she has questions about the seller's use of personal data or if he or she wants the seller to delete or change the personal data.

Payment

The purchase sum can be settled through bank or credit card (Visa and Mastercard)
